Composici贸n: Cada 100 g benzac ac 5 reviews gel contiene: Per贸xido de Benzo铆lo 2.5 g, 5 g o 10 g, Copol铆meros de Acr铆lico 4 g, Glicerol 2 g. Acci贸n Terap茅utica: Antiacneico. Indicaciones: Benzac AC est谩 indicado para el tratamiento t贸pico del acn茅 vulgaris. Modo de Empleo: Benzac AC debe aplicarse 1 贸 2 veces por d铆a para cubrir las superficies afectadas, despu茅s de lavarlas con un limpiador suave y agua, o seg煤n indicaci贸n del m茅dico. Efectos Colaterales: Con la terapia t贸pica a base de per贸xido de benzo铆lo se ha informado dermatitis al茅rgica de contacto y sequedad. Contraindicaciones: Estos preparados est谩n contraindicados en pacientes con historial de hipersensibilidad a cualquiera de los componentes de la f贸rmula. Advertencias: Exclusivamente para uso externo. Mantener fuera del alcance de los ni帽os. Precauciones: Generales: si se produce irritaci贸n severa, ser谩 necesario discontinuar el uso del producto e instituir una terapia apropiada. Una vez despejada la reacci贸n al茅rgica, frecuentemente se puede reanudar el tratamiento, pero aplic谩ndolo con menor frecuencia. Evitar el contacto con los ojos, los p谩rpados, labios y membranas mucosas. Si se llegara a producir un contacto accidental, se recomienda enjuagar con agua. El contacto con cualquier material de color (incluso cabellos y telas) puede producir un blanqueo o decoloraci贸n. Si llegara a ocurrir una irritaci贸n excesiva, ser谩 necesario discontinuar el uso del producto y consultar al m茅dico. Carcinog茅nesis, mutag茅nesis, menoscabo de la fecundidad: los datos obtenidos con varios estudios en los que se emplea una cepa de ratones altamente susceptibles al desarrollo del c谩ncer, sugieren que el per贸xido de benzo铆lo act煤a como promotor de tumores. El significado cl铆nico de estos hallazgos en seres humanos se desconoce. El per贸xido de benzo铆lo no ha probado ser mutag茅nico (pruebas Ames) y no existen datos publicados que sean indicativos de que afecte la fecundidad. Embarazo-efectos teratog茅nicos: embarazo categor铆a C. No se han desarrollado estudios de reproducci贸n animal con per贸xido de benzo铆lo. Se desconoce si el per贸xido de benzo铆lo es capaz de causar da帽os en el feto cuando se lo administra a mujeres embarazadas o si puede afectar su capacidad de reproducci贸n. El per贸xido de benzo铆lo s贸lo deber谩 usarse en mujeres embarazadas si es indispensable. No se dispone de datos sobre el efecto de este producto sobre el crecimiento posterior, el desarrollo y la maduraci贸n funcional del feto. Madres lactantes: se desconoce si esta droga es excretada en la leche humana. Dado que hay muchas drogas que s铆 son excretadas por esta v铆a, deber谩 tenerse cuidado con el per贸xido de benzo铆lo cuando se le administra a madres lactantes. Uso pedi谩trico: no se han establecido la seguridad o la eficacia en ni帽os. Sobredosificaci贸n: Si se llegara a presentar una descamaci贸n, eritema o edema excesivos, habr谩 que suspender su uso. Con el fin de acelerar la resoluci贸n de los efectos adversos se pueden usar compresas fr铆as. Una vez que desaparecen los signos y s铆ntomas, se podr谩 intentar un sistema con dosis reducidas o menor concentraci贸n de per贸xido de benzo铆lo, cuando se considere que la reacci贸n se debi贸 a un uso excesivo y no a un proceso al茅rgico.
